Terms
Last updated 2 November 2026.
Meetcha is run by Ask Virgil Limited (company number 17179726). These terms cover your use of it at events and on this website. By setting up a band you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
The service
Meetcha lets you tap a band with your phone, swap details with another person, and get a list of the people you met. It is free for attendees. You do not need an app.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in to yourself.
- Set up the band you were given. Do not set up a band that belongs to someone else.
- You choose what to share. You can change it or delete your account at any time.
How swapping works
Details are shared only when someone presses Swap, and swaps always go both ways. Once you have swapped, the other person has your shared details and may keep them. Please use details you receive to follow up in a friendly and relevant way, and not to send bulk or unwanted messages.
Acting fairly
You agree not to:
- harass, spam or mislead anyone using the service;
- try to access other people's information or break the service;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
We may remove access if these terms are broken.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Meetcha running, but this is a new service and may change or have gaps. We are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have predicted, or for what other people do with details you share. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
Organisers and exhibitors
Messages sent through this website are not an offer. Any pilot or paid arrangement with an event organiser or exhibitor will be agreed separately in writing.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about changes that matter. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute.
